What we collect

Your name, email address, phone number and organisation when you send us a form or message.

Details of what you ask for, such as the service, booking, quotation or message, and any files you attach.

For payments: invoices, payment references and the payslips you upload.

For job applications: your CV, photo, experience, screening answers and other details you give us.

For partnership and investment applications: your organisation, contact people, the documents you upload, and the investment and payment details needed for the application.

How we use it

To answer you, prepare quotations and invoices, arrange bookings, and deliver the services you ask for.

To review job, partnership and investment applications, and to keep the records that these require.

To send our news by email, only after you confirm your subscription. Every news email lets you unsubscribe.

To protect this website from spam and misuse, and to meet our legal and accounting duties.

Cookies and visitor counts

We use only the cookies this website needs: one keeps your session working, one protects forms against forgery, and one remembers that you have already answered the news popup.

We count page visits per day, page and traffic source. These counts do not include your IP address or anything else that identifies you. We use no advertising cookies.

To limit spam, we briefly keep a coded form of your internet address.

Who can see it

Only Uhuru Tech staff who need your information for their work.

Service providers that help us run this website and contact you, such as our hosting, email, SMS and WhatsApp providers. Some of them may process information outside Tanzania.

Authorities, when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose above, or as long as the law requires, such as for accounting records.

You may ask to see your information, correct it, or have it deleted when we no longer need to keep it. You may also object to how we use it, and you may unsubscribe from news at any time.
